Strategy Design & Execution

Throughout my career, I have guided teams of various sizes through strategic planning exercises and in the execution of the resulting plans or recommendations – whether they be for the organization as a whole or for departments or teams within them. I understand the importance of clearly defining the problem(s) at hand and how to work collaboratively with teams to explore solutions. With an eye to implementation, I guide teams to balance between ambition with practical, measurable objectives. Through experience and coursework, I am also well-versed in change management , a key component underlying the success of these processes.

Clients include:

• The International Rescue Committee (IRC) - in collaboration with Mann Global Health - with which I worked to revamp the operating systems and governance models of their partner, the Inter-agency Working Group; and

i+ solutions, which engaged me to guide them through a value proposition exercise and development of a business plan to improve their targeting and fundraising efforts.

Event Planning & Facilitation

During my tenure at the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition (RHSC), I directed the planning of the organization’s annual General Membership Meeting which hosts 300+ participants from more than 50 countries over five days and takes place in a different city each year including Kathmandu in 2019, Brussels in 2018, Seattle in 2016, Oslo in 2015, and Mexico City in 2014. This included the development of the overall agenda; cultivating sessions to ensure they were engaging and met objectives; managing logistics and budget; identifying and working with vendors; facilitation; and coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure success. Based on feedback from participants these meetings are seen to be among the best in the industry.

Though my work at the World Affairs Council in Seattle, I also have extensive experience in planning events in the Seattle area - ranging from more intimate gatherings to large fundraising events in various venues.

Clients include:

• The Male Contraceptive Initiative (MCI): for which I led the organization of the 2025 National Contraceptive Meeting that it hosted for more than 250 industry leaders over four days in Durham, NC ;

The Supply Chain Management Unit at UNFPA in Copenhagen, which needed support to strategize for and organize a large-scale, multi-day meeting of partners from multiple sectors; and

• A team at Western Washington University for which I organized and facilitated a strategic planning workshop.

Global Public Health Expertise

My experience as the Deputy Director at the RHSC put me at the center of the conversations about reproductive health supplies. Coupled with my tenure at Population Services International (PSI) in the field and at headquarters, this means I know the players, intimately understand the issues and am an expert in RH markets and supply chains.
